Hyatt Vineyards was established by Leland and Lynda Hyatt in 1983. Evolving from a modest Estate vineyard surrounding the Winery, Hyatt Vineyards has grown to 180 acres in four separate sites all within 3 miles of the original plantings. Each of the four different vineyards, Cherry Hill, Three Rocks, Roza Ridge and the original Estate Vineyard display significantly distinct soils, elevation and exposure. Varietals include Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Chardonnay, Riesling, Black Muscat and Zinfandel. From the Winery's first release in 1987, awards, medals and very favorable press have followed consistently year after year.
We Carry: Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

CHARDONNAY
Tank fermented on French oak staves. Tropical fruits with hints of oak spice and vanilla. Good balance; dry with medium body but a fresh and lively wine. Rich in texture and exotic in flavor. Hyattis in the center of this small and very
appropriate new Appellation, Rattlesnake Hills, which enjoys better
heat-units than the rest of the Valley - ensuring ripening - with
elevations ranging from 700 - 1200 feet above sea level. This more
precisely-defined Viticultural area contains 20 wineries and shows
enormous promise of balanced and excellent fruit for us to transform
into wonderful wines, in the tradition of premier quality Hyatt Vineyard
wines.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Dark garnet in color with tastes of black cherry, plum, blueberry and spice up front. A rich, almost chewy tannic finish with hints of chocolate. It is delicious right now, but will benefit with a year of aging. Great value for the price! Enjoy it with steak, grilled red meat or smoked meats.
Awards: Best Buy - Wine Enthusiast Silver Medal - Pacific Rim

MERLOT
This Merlot is aged in new French and American oak barrels. It is bright and a moderately saturated ruby to garnet, with aromas of strawberry, cedar, vanillan, chocolate raspberry truffle, and chervil. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, soft, and supple with lush fruit and well-integrated tannins. On the finish, the wine has a note of cherry-cola. This easy going wine is the right price and sure to please for large parties such as weddings. Enjoyable as an aperitif, it would also be right at home alongside a plate of grilled beef sirloin with Dijon mustard sauce.
